L.A. Recordings is the creation of Liam and Anna Blomqvist. The name is the result of their initials combined, It's also a homage to the famous United Recorders studio in LA, spotting the same signature Linoleum floor. The warm sound of 60's Laurel Canyon has echoed all the way to Berlin and inspired the make of this recording space. The studio has housed acts such as Foreign Air, Hayley Reardon, Jadea Kelly, HOPE, DBBD, Ryan O'Reilly, ZUTA, Emma Elisabeth, HorsegiirL, Sophie Sutton, ROPE, Ian Fisher, Golden Hours, Another Nguyen, True Rose, Lily Rieke Marty, and many more.

 

Liam and Anna both moved to Berlin in 2016, where they met while studying music at University. Together, they're playing in projects such as The Flavians, Anna Vaverková & L.A. People

A recent addition to the team is Emilio Amarú (in-house producer and sound engineer). With a special feel for sound design, organic textures and fusion rhythms, he specialises on giving records a special sonic identity that enhances the qualities and the message from the artist.
